The Beginning (Breath of Relief! The Hardest Part is Over!)

Beginnings are difficult for me.  It’s not so much a problem with the beginning of an idea as the beginning of action, where something steps outside my brain onto paper, or fabric, or printed word.  I can always think of something I’d like to learn about, but when it comes time for action, craftwork, creativity… I get derailed.  Countless times I have had an idea and learned all about it, even purchased needed supplies, and then abandoned it.  My “craft bin” is overflowing with projects I decided to do and prepared for but never started, let alone finished!  I used to have a blog, and loved it.  I’ve considered starting a new one since then.  I’ve even signed up for a new blog at several different sites, several different times in the past few years.  But I don’t remember the last time I published a post.  It was probably 3 or more years ago.

So here I am!  And now that my first post is done, my second (and thereafter) should come easily and quickly.

There.  I did it.
